During your first appointment, the physician performs a thorough assessment using pulse reading (Nadi Pariksha), lifestyle appraisal and symptom assessment. This assessment is the basis for a health plan appropriate to your individual needs and goals towards multilevel healing (mind, body and lifestyle).
The first visit will last anywhere from 45-60 minutes. This gives your physician time to discover every aspect of your physical, emotional and digestive health before creating a personalized treatment plan to balance your Dosha and lifestyle.
Yes. Ayurveda uses traditional diagnosis, however, we will also use relevant modern medical reports/lab tests if applicable. Having the full picture of what is happening in your health will allow us for the most accurate and safest treatment plan, and long-term effective outcomes.
Following the first visit, your physician will likely recommend simple herbs, dietary changes, or daily habits (Dinacharya) practices for you to adopt and begin balancing your system.
